IBM conducted a seminar at Chennai today, to acquaint its Rational brand of tools to the industry leaders. The event was held at Le Meridian, Chennai. The topics covered in the seminar included "Business Driven Development and Issues in Managing Requirements", "Integrated software tools addressing the entire software development lifecycle" and "Developments tools in a heterogeneous environment", followed by a Q&A session and lunch. Rational Certified Consultants from Astra Infotech were among the luminaries who gave the talk at the event.

SE News launched - The monthly technology update from Astra Infotech, SE News was formally launched by Mr. Sunil Kinger, Country Manager-IBM Rational brand. The IBM office at Subrahmanyam Arcade, Bangalore was the venue of the event.

SE News intends to live upto its punch-line - Enabling the Practitioner - by providing useful & practical information on various IBM Rational tools and thereby enabling the practitioner to explore the tool and stretch it to its fullest of potential. It is a monthly e-magazine which is made available through subscription.
