The purpose of this service is to facilitate the customers,
who want to outsource their development work, in evolving
a requirements management process that would handle cultural
differences. The service applies the fundamentals of RUP in
evoling the process. The following sections provide an overview
of the activities involved.

Often customers would like to outsource the development work
as it reduces the overall development cost. This however requires
a proper process for handing over the specifications and accepting
the delivered solution. Many times, the cultural differences
between the customer and the outsourced vendor jeopardize
the entire effort by way of mis-communication or improper
understanding of the specifications. An appropriate requirements
management process would take care of such issues and ensure
that specifications are properly transferred to the vendor
and the deliverables are properly assessed against those specifications.

What is the normal working model?
- Consulting is either done wholly onsite or using an onsite-offshore
model. Part of the documentation activities could be done
offshore. This offers cost effective model for the customers.
